Qur'an- Chapter 75! (The Resurrection) with English interpretation

Qur'an- Chapter 82 (The Cleaving) and chapter 101 (The Calamity)... with English interpretation

The Qur’an was revealed to prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over a period of 23 years.
The Qur’an was the greatest miracle the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was sent with. As Muslims, we believe in the previous scriptures revealed to previous prophets for their generations. For instance, we believe in the original Torah, Gospel and Psalms.

Incidentally, however, there are no original copies of these scriptures, as over time, people have altered these, thus distorting the original message.

Conversely, the Qur’an is the verbatim speech of Allah, and since its revelation centuries back, the miracle is that it is immune to corruption and to this day not a single letter has been altered, millions worldwide have memorised it and millions recite it every day.

Allah guaranteed to preserve the Qur’an.

' Verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption) .’

[Qur’an, chapter 15: verse 9]

The Qur’an was revealed in its original Arabic. There exists various translations of the Arabic original, but these translations are only an interpretation of the actual meaning and as such, cannot reflect the absolute meaning and eloquence of the original Arabic Qur’an. Nevertheless, translations/interpretations of the meanings help those who have limited competence in Arabic to understand better.
